Halo 2: The Verdict
The remake of Dawn of the Dead was an awesome movie with fantastic amounts of gore and a great story. People are stuck in a mall with hordes of zombies all around the building, fending them off when they can. Now take that movie and replace all the zombies with everyone that bought Halo 2 and you can see now that the world is in trouble. It has apparently overtaken the world by storm like a horrible disease. People who have this game are not going to be the same for a while. Social functionality is now warped as conversation is not easy with someone not in the know. You want to just let on how cool this game is to whoever it is around like some obnoxious mormon. Just vomit all over the non-believers shoes and move on to the next unsaved soul for "education". You want to spread the good word of this game like herpes. I have been playing this game every morning after work and have beaten it yesterday. I shouted several freestyle profanity mixes at this machine and threw the controller in disgust. The ending of the game stops right out of the blue with all these loose ends still floating around for you to eagerly await the next game. Stop for a second. Shit. There is now vomit on your shoe. Allow me to explain why your socks are wet. Imagine you are in the most exhilarating roller coaster known to man. Now imagine that the line is so insanely long that it takes you, oh say two years. Now imagine that you see this ride and it is massive. There are crazy loops and turns and twists that look like they can break your neck at the speed it travels. Holy fuck, this looks like it's going to be fun. You ride probably the most intense roller coaster of your life that is unparalleled to anything you have ridden in your life. You now realize that the ride only lasts for about 30 seconds and now some sweaty, balding attendant is telling you to get the fuck out and see you two years from now for a possibly cooler ride. It is still a great ride and you won't forget the 30 seconds, but it is still thirty seconds. Bottom line is that it is an awesome game that ends way too soon. Now get the hell outta here and change your socks.
